Recently, the solar fastener range completed delivery for a European distributed rooftop PV project, including hot-dip galvanized racking bolts, 304 stainless brackets and EPDM sealing washers, which have arrived by sea freight.
European rooftop projects demand high corrosion resistance, with coastal areas requiring over 1000 hours salt-spray testing. This project used hot-dip galvanized 8.8 bolts for racking connections, A2-70 stainless hooks for roof attachments and EPDM waterproof washers for both corrosion and water sealing.
Before shipment, dimensional sampling, coating thickness measurement and salt-spray sampling were performed per customer requirements, with material certificates, test reports and packing lists provided to ensure smooth customs clearance and site acceptance.
The project team reported consistent dimensions, uniform coating and stable tightening torque, with no stripping or rust. A follow-up phase two order has been confirmed.
