PV plants require a 25-year life. Racking and module fasteners are outdoors long-term and must balance strength, corrosion resistance and grounding. Our range centers on racking joints with bolts, clamps and grounding parts, matched to different environments.
We supply grade 8.8 and some 10.9 carbon steel bolts for rails, posts and structures. Finish depends on environment: zinc for inland, dacromet or hot-dip galvanized for coastal and heavy corrosion. M8, M10 and M12 are most common, with matching flange nuts and washers. Bolts must match required torque to avoid loose joints or damaged racks.
Mid and end clamps fix module frames—aluminum clamps with stainless bolts balance light weight and rust protection. Rooftop projects also include standing-seam clamps, hooks and rail connectors for different panel and tile types. Clamp size is chosen by frame thickness and profile.
Equipotential grounding uses toothed grounding washers and jumpers. Toothed washers pierce coating when tightened; green-yellow braided jumpers bridge rail splices. Rooftop penetrations use EPDM washers to reduce leakage.
General inland roofs: zinc bolts. Coastal/chemical/humid: dacromet or hot-dip galvanized for longer salt-spray life. Stainless 304/316 for the highest corrosion needs. Balance initial cost against 25-year maintenance by local corrosion class.
The solar fastener range provides bolts, clamps and grounding as a package.
